Porto Alegre City

Porto Alegre is a Brazilian city and capital of Rio Grande do Sul belongs to the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre and is 2027 kilometers from Brasilia. The town was formed from the arrival of Portuguese Azorean couples in the first half of the eighteenth century. In the nineteenth century had many German and Italian immigrants. The holiday of Porto Alegre is the 2nd of February, feast of Our Lady of the Navigators, the most popular religious festival in the city. It is one of the state capitals in Brazil, where the human development index is the most elevado.É also the capital of the southern region with the highest income per capita, and its metropolitan area is among all surveyed, the lowest poverty rate and unemployment, according to the IPEA and IBGE respectively.

Global Warming

Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century and its projected continuation. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concludes that increasing greenhouse gas concentrations resulting from human activity such as fossil fuel burning and deforestation caused most of the observed temperature increase since the middle of the 20th century. The IPCC also concludes that variations in natural phenomena such as solar radiation and volcanoes produced most of the warming from pre-industrial times to 1950 and had a small cooling effect afterward.

Woody Woodpecker - The Barber of Seville (1944)

Woody Woodpecker will cut hair, but the barber went to the gym. So Woody Woodpecker decides to cut his hair and also the customers of the shop, as an Indian and a worker. In one scene, Woody Woodpecker sings the song "Figaro". I love this cartoon, watched as a child.
