Valentine's Day

In Brazil we celebrate the Valentine's Day on June 12.

But in much of the world (such as USA, Italy and Canada), the date chosen is February 14, Valentine's Day (Valentine, for some, or Valentine's day of the Americans), a saint devoted to the idea of love. Valentines Day in Brazil is not celebrated in the way as it is celebrated in other parts of the world In lieu of Valentines Day, the people of Brazil celebrates "Dia dos Namorados", that is, Boyfriend's/Girlfriend's Day on 12th June, one day before the day of St. Anthony.
