Movie - The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

I watched the film "The boy in the pyjamas" this weekend. I really enjoyed, but I was surprised at the end. During World War II, a German family moves from Berlin to Auschwitz, where the patriarch is ordained to work in a concentration camp. So, Bruno, a boy of 8 years old and son of the officer, begins a beautiful friendship with a Jewish boy of the same age. The film shows how prejudice, hatred and violence affect innocent people, especially children.
